Suzanne King, 
Co-Chair

Partner, Pierce Atwood LLP

Suzanne King has been a partner at Pierce Atwood LLP since 2015.  An experienced management-side employment lawyer, Suzanne counsels employers on a wide range of employment practices. Suzanne also has extensive experience drafting employment agreements, conducting workplace investigations, and responding effectively to demand letters, cease and desist letters, federal and state DOL investigations, and charges of discrimination at state agencies and the EEOC.  Many disputes can be resolved without litigation through strong advocacy and skillful negotiation, and Suzanne has successfully negotiated hundreds of resolutions on behalf of employers.

Suzanne believes in the importance of training as a primary tool in preventing workplace disputes and regularly trains HR professionals and managers on a full range of employment law issues, including sexual harassment and FMLA and ADA procedures.  Twice a year, Suzanne offers Managing Employees 101, a half-day program for supervisors and managers that includes the ten things every manager and supervisor should know about employment law as well as practical tools for managing employee performance.

Suzanne has lived on the Seacoast for over 20 years with her husband and three sons.

Andrea Daly
Membership Chair

Partner, Robinson, Boesch, Sennott & Masse, P.A.

Andrea’s areas of practice include probate law and mental health law.  In her probate litigation practice, she handles matters involving family conflict over money.  In her mental health work, she has defended dozens of physicians, social workers and psychotherapists before their state licensing boards and understands how the boards operate and what the boards' expectations are for licensees.  In addition, she represents patients who have brought claims against individual practitioners and organizations.  A large part of Andrea’s practice involves training and providing on-going risk management advice to licensees on issues related to ethics, confidentiality, informed consent, reporting laws, records management, and other legal issues related to mental health care and medical care. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston University in 1991 and her Juris Doctor degree from Vermont Law School in 1997.

Hope Martin, CFP®,

Vigilant Capital Management

Hope is Managing Director & Wealth Advisor at Vigilant Capital Management, LLC.  Vigilant is an Independent Investment Management and Wealth Advisory firm that works with a select group of families of substantial wealth. Through independent, objective thinking that is unencumbered by conflicts of interest present in many larger organizations the firm manages their clients’ liquidity with customized portfolios, thoughtful planning, and a focus on preservation of principal.

 

Hope started her career in Boston at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. before moving to NH’s Seacoast in favor of the lifestyle of a smaller city in which to work and raise her family.  

Hope earned her MBA in Paris, France at Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausées (ENPC) and her undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College.  She completed the Boston University Financial Planning Program and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.  An avid skier and former lacrosse player, she has remained active in both sports over the years as a coach and board member of the Seacoast Lacrosse League. Hope is the President of Dartmouth Club of the Seacoast and is a past board member of Womenaid of Greater Portsmouth. She lives in Portsmouth with her husband Chip and their two children.

Donna Gandt
Programming Chair

Vice President, Northeast Region, Unanet

Donna has spent over 25 years at the intersection of business and technology in various industries, including telecommunications, software, retail, and government. Her more recent roles have included working with and serving on leadership teams from large companies to small start-ups with a focus on consulting, strategic planning, client services, web technology, and market growth. She takes tremendous pleasure in helping organizations come together to establish priorities, set performance indicators, establish systematic and repeatable processes to meet objectives, and most of all to do so through collaborative teamwork and decision making.

Donna lives on the Seacoast of NH with her husband and two children. She enjoys adventure and being outdoors in just about any form – biking, hiking, skilling, camping, walking, gardening, and traveling. She has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from Boston University.

Katherine Hollister,MD
Advisory Committee

Internal Medicine,
Families First Health Center

A biology major graduate of Colby College with several years of post graduation breast cancer research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dr. Hollister received her medical doctorate education at the Penn State College of Medicine.  She then completed residency in Internal Medicine at Maine Medical Center prior to entering private primary care practice.  Transitioning to work with the indigent and homeless on a mobile van for the Health Care for the Homeless program in Portsmouth, NH (part of Families First), Dr. Hollister is also a long time independent consultant providing expertise in long term care at Unum.

Board memberships include Health Care Gives, the Harbor Forum, and the Foundation for Seacoast Health, for which she is the Grant Committee Chairperson. She is also an alumna board member of the Seacoast Women’s Giving Circle.  Residing in the Seacoast NH area for over ten years, she is an intrepid traveler, avid walker and kayaker, who enjoys spending time with her family.
